Ron Karr (piano) and Spike Connor (bass) founded Simply Jazz in 1999 on the the San Francisco Peninsula. Performing classic, modern and original jazz, they have employed many talented Bay Area musicians in their jazz combo, depending on the gig (see Musicians page). They currently appear as a trio featuring a different soloist each night on Mondays and Wednesdays 6-9 PM at the Los Altos Grill, and as a duo with occasional special guests on Saturdays 6:15 – 10 PM at Chantilly Restaurant.
